Great location away from Hoi'an town. Convenient and free shuttle bus into town. Rooms are all new, well furnished, comfortable and clean. Great breakfast. Private beach. Everything you could want and for a great price. Would definitely recommend.
Our bed was really comfortable and the beach and pool were both very clean and lovely.
The service at this hotel was not up to scratch. The reception staff constantly spoke to their colleagues whilst we were trying to deal with them, and the restaurant staff seemed more concerned with gettting us to sign our chit than actually bring the food or drink. We had to wait 20 mins for our drinks. Also, there was a slightly musty smell in parts of the hotel and in our room.
Beautiful design, spacious rooms, small scale, extremely friendly staff, good breakfast buffet.
The hotel driver who picked us up from the airport stopped at a shopping venue for marble statues and forced us to stay there for 15 min. Obviously in exchange for a commission. This was outrageous. We were tired from the flight and wanted to get to the hotel. Another driver tried to talk us into buying polo shirts.
The hotel is a good choice if want to stay directly on the beach while staying in Hoi An. We had an eczellent dinner one night - great taste, great quality, however overpriced compared to the restaurants in downtown Hoi An. It's a pity that the ambiance of the restaurant is a bit too cold. Breakfast is good. The interior of the hotel room is modern and nice, but the beds in the twin bedded room are far too small - their width is only 100 cm!!! The pool is great and the beach is clean. The complimentary shuttle bus to downtown Hoi An is a great thing to have. Our overall impression is that they try to be high-end and state of the art, but they do not reach the aim. Therefore we will choose to stay in a hotel downtown Hoi An for our next stay
Facilities very good, food delicious and staff very customer focused. Located next to beach. Bikes for free to bike to the old city of Hoi An or free hotel bus. Good spa
Some start up problems like smelly bathrooms, tv often not working, staff limited english
Food was great and service very quick.
Rooms smell alittle damp not sure why as they where new and lovely. The gardener needs to get a lawn mover and not use a whipper Snipper as everyday we had to ask to stop the noise from our room was terrible.
Very friendly/helpful staff, clean modern accomadation, large grounds that are very well kept, an all round great location and great holiday hotel.
Very good location, on the beach of Hoi An. Shuttle service on several times during the day to the centre of Hoi An. Excellent breakfast.
The resort: The resort is 1 year old and seems to be getting into the swing of things, the service is excellent and they go out of their way to assist you in any way. My Husband and I stayed here for 4 nights with our 15 month old son. We got the resort shuttle service from the airport for us$30 (for 2 of us) but later on we found out that taxis are only us$16 (you can negotiate a fixed rate with the taxis and only pay what you agree on, not what is on the meter - this is what we did on the way back to the airport). The resort has a small gift shop, not too much but seemed reasonably priced compared to stores in town. Room: Our 'Superior' room was nice (309 on the third floor), although we asked for non-smoking but my Husband thought he could smell smoke from previous people - also the people would smoke on the balconies next to us so this was not really non-smoking. The resort provided us with a baby cot and it was all set up in the room when we arrived. However they only gave us 2 towels, even though there were 3 of us, and we had to ring up every day asking for an extra towel - I had hoped they would figure it out after the first day and just leave 3 towels each day when they serviced the room. We had a nice enough view over the pool, looking out to the ocean, but I am guessing the 4th floor (top floor) would be the best view). The shower needed more pressure. No bath in our room which was a pain with a baby but I am not sure which rooms have baths - we may have had to upgrade. The bed was large and comfortable. There are free small bottles of water in the room so take these with you each day and they will be replaced. Beach: The beach is excellent, life guard on duty and towels, chairs, umbrellas provided - you can even get drinks/food brought to you from the pool bar. The beach is clean, as is the water, and it is lovely and warm in the ocean. Restaurants: We didn't dine at the resort restaurant for meals (other than breakfast, which is great!
Spa: We didn't use the spa - too expensive and didn't offer the services that I was looking for (waxing in particular), maybe they could expand what they offer at the spa. Pool Bar: The pool bar does draft beer for VND22,000 but everything else at the bar is reasonably pricey. There is not a lot of food selection at the pool bar - we had the hamburger one day but for VND180,000 is it too expensive.
Beautiful resort with a great private beach. Rooms large enough and comfortable with balcony and very nice view. Spacious bathrooms. Very good breakfast and super swimming pool. The best though is the beach: walking out of your room and onto the beach where you have relaxing chairs in the shade to take a dip in the sea. Truly wonderful! The rooms are good value as well although villa's are on the pricey side. We had a last-minute deal, for $100 per night for a room (no villa), which was great! Shuttle service convenient - otherwise a $5 taxi ride from little Hoi An.
Some staff should really learn better English - some staff do not understand you at all. However, staff at the lobby (check-in etc) are very friendly and speak a good English. No further complaints: everything was great!
The deluxe room is a great size, huge bed, lovely view, very clean and really modern. The pool was amazing as was the spa. The private beach area has white sand and one of the best outlooks you could ask for. We stayed in August and it felt very quiet, although the hotel was apparently pretty full. It was a little bit of paradise that we didn't think we would get for less than £65 a night.
Our first night was a standard room to the right hand side of the hotel as you enter, it was suffering a damp problem and smelt quite bad. The next morning they upgraded us to a deluxe room and were very apologetic, the staff were very helpful and exceptional. As we were leaving it looked as though they were sorting out the issue with the damp. Quiet at night, but suited us as Hoi Ann is so easy to get to and from.
Having stayed at 6 Hoi An hotels/resorts over the past 3 years I would have to say the Boutique Hoi An Resort is the absolute best. We had the most fabulous time, the deluxe room enable us to overlook the children in the pool from the shady verandah the beach was perfect, the staff were helpful and friendly. My advice to anyone is don't look anywhere else, this is paradise.
As a resident of Ho Chi Minh we frequently travel in Vietnam and are often disappointed by the level of serive provided by people in the tourism industry. This was certainly NOT the case at the Boutique -staff were friendly, helpful and smiling. The facilities are of a good standard, and we found the wonderful open space around the pool and on to the beach to be very relaxing. The Shuttle Bus is convenient too. We will certainly recommend to friends and will return again.
We were treated very well by the staff, especially given the fact we were traveling on our honeymoon. We were given an upgrade to a larger room and arrived in our room to find rose petals on the bed together with a small cake. We thought this was a lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent, with a good mix of western and Asian food as well as eggs to order. The pool area was beautiful and very well maintained and the beach location was very picturesque. The staff were polite and attentive without making you feel overwhelmed. All in all, highly recommended.
One minor gripe is that the bar area, which is located near reception, is a little too bright. It would be nice if they could bring in a designer to make it feel more intimate and less like an extension of the foyer.
I booked a stay as a surprise treat for my girlfriend while traveling. It was terrific, the room was amazing and clean and bright. The pool and beach just 100m away was exceptional, we had a great stay!
